Clearly Identify the Job

Upon arrival at the jobsite
- Take a photo of the building. Include the house number in the photo if visible.
- When inside, take a photo of the job specification sheet ensuring that it clearly shows the customer name, address, etc.

Place edge markers on cabinets & stick-on markers on walls.
- Use two Intelli-Marks™ for any straight line.
- Place Intelli-Mark edge markers on cabinet edges.
- Place Intelli-Mark stick-on markers along walls.
- Free form curves require multiple markers. Wall markers can be continuous or randomly placed if you want scribe.
- Wall markers are round and 2” from center to edge for off-set measuring. No squaring to edges necessary.
- Each wall mark also has four tick marks for exact edge alignment.
- Multiple templates can be derived from one set of photos (i.e. – sink base, bar top, backsplash).
- Intelli-Mark provides data beyond measurements that allows transfer of other information such as sink or cook-top center line, corner radii, overhang, text labeling, etc.
Measuring over existing countertops?
- For measuring over existing countertops, use the Intelli‑Gauge™ that is included at no additional charge with ETemplate Photo.
- Designed for use with all types of existing countertops for easy, accurate measurement of cabinet base. European style cabinets are not a problem.

Place Intelli-Scales™

Place scales to appear in photographs.
- Intelli-Scales™ may be placed anywhere in the project.
- No leveling or squaring required.
- One scale every 8 to 10 linear feet is recommended.

Photographing the Job

|
|
Rule-of-thumb for taking photos.
- Each Intelli-Mark™ must appear in at least two photos from at least two angles.
- Photos are not required to be taken in a specific sequence.
- Each photo should contain at least 15 Intelli-marks with a minimum of six marks overlapping between photos.
- Average job requires 8 to12 photos for processing. Number varies based on size and complexity of the job.
- Additional photos for informational purposes and two overall photos from different angles are recommended.
- Finish by of writing our any special instructions on a whiteboard or pad and photographing it.

Processing the job
- Transmit the photos via e-mail, FTP, or download directly into computer in your shop, or at the jobsite.
- Launch project wizard.
- Allow computer to process (7 to 10 seconds per photo).
- Employ Quality Control Features (ETemplate exclusive).
- Open the Process Center
- Create primary drawing with ETemplate Integrator™ that automatically adds overhang and corner radii (ETemplate exclusive).
- Parametrically adjust or add special design features as needed (ETemplate exclusive).
- BackPlot™ places the CAD drawing onto photos to examine fit, overhang, radii, etc. (ETemplate exclusive)
- Extract additional measurements and make customer requested corrections as required (ETemplate exclusive).
- Get final customer approval.
- Send to production.
